Our client, with corporate headquarters near Fairfield, VT is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to add to its senior management team.
Responsible for influencing the development and implementation of strategic marketing and sales plans; meeting goals; developing, growing and leading the sales and marketing staff, including public relations and social media and ensuring other departments within the company work well with the team. Staff will be located throughout the United States and Canadian provinces. Representation and leadership in public and trade shows as well as assisting sales staff with key clients.
Travel, 50%, required.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Business and a minimum of five years of related experience, in an international logistics, transportation or brokerage industry. Please note, industry experience is required for this role. Distribution industry experience is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience and excellent benefits package. Corporate is in Vermont, local candidates are preferred, relocation is an option or working remotely within the Continental United States near an airport is an option. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
